HERITAGE APPEAL
This site is on the Heritage Register of Brisbane City Council. We seek your help in preserving the buildings on this site. The original church was built in 1891 and today serves as the Parish Centre.
Our current project is to repair the Parish Centre and this has an estimated cost of over $20,000
St Margaret’s also has many beautiful stained glass windows, many of these are over 70 years old and require cleaning and re-leading.
Your tax-deductible donation will help us complete these essential works.
These windows are important for their art history and the important stories of people and events they commemorate.

Bush Church Aid Society
The Bush Church Aid Society is an association of Christians within the Australian Anglican Church. BCA Field Staff serve in regional and remote parts of Australia. Locals in these places are removed from cities, live in sparsely populated towns (sometimes as small as a few hundred people), and often don’t benefit from strong support networks of family and friends.
Churches in these areas can struggle, ongoing fellowship can be hard to maintain, and encouragement can become a rarity. To assist with the work of BCA you can obtain a small change box from the church.

Anglican Board of Mission
ABM is the national mission agency of the Anglican Church of Australia working with overseas and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities. ABM works with partners both in Australia and overseas to provide support, and assist with community driven development projects that cover issues such as basic health and education, food security and livelihood support. At Holy Spirit we support ABM by the use of small change boxes, the annual Lenten appeal and through the saving of used stamps.

Leaving a Bequest
A bequest can change many lives. You can make a real difference to the good work of the Anglican Parish of Sandgate Northpoint by making a Will and choosing to leave a bequest which will be a lasting symbol of your generosity. Past bequests have enabled the establishment of new rural and urban ministries, community support in times of hardship and programs and facilities to help those in need.
Bequest Will Clause:
“I give and bequeath the sum of $…… (or the rest and residue of my estate) to The Corporation of The Synod of The Diocese of Brisbane for the general charitable and religious purposes of the Anglican Parish of Sandgate Northpoint, and the receipt of the Diocesan General Manager shall be a sufficient discharge to my executor or trustee.”
